Additional enamel coated strands are implemented to reduce electrical resistance and decreases electrical anomalies such as skin and proximity effect while increasing durability greatly and sound quality improvements. Furthermore, the dampening core from Type 6 is substituted for a secondary wire at the core featuring its own PS insulation, while the outer bundles serve as dampeners thank in part by the enamel coating, allows it to fully isolate the center wire from any form of interference. Through breakthrough in manufacturing, design, and innovation, all features were made possible while minimizing an increase in outer dimensions. These advantages makes it the ideal choice for audiophiles and purists.
